NOTE
• The level at a time when the fluid is
cold (20-30 ° C) should be used only as
a reference value.
Check the fluid level again at normal
operating temperature (70 - 80 ° C) for
correct level.
• If the level differs between on the front
side and on the back side of the
dipstick, the check should be made at
a side where a lower level is indicated.
Power steering fluid level check
Check the power steering fluid level as
follows.
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and
apply the parking brake.
2. Keep the fluid temperature at about20 ° C.
3. Ensure that the steering fluid level in the
reserve tank is between the MAX and
MIN marks.
4. Slowly add specified clean fluid if the
level is too low. Do not overfill.
For recommended power steering fluid,
see Section 14.
CAUTION
If the fluid level is too low, or if fluid
decreases noticeably, have the system
checked by a Perodua Dealer.
