8 Troubleshooting
8.1 Errors, possible causes and solutions

Solution
The Main Unit will not
start up
Discharged battery Make sure the Technical Cabinet is connected
to the mains power and Mains Indicator Light
on the Charging Bay lights up.
Check so that the USB-cable protruding from
the charging bay is correctly inserted in the
USB-connector of the Main Unit. If uncertain
unplug it and plug it in again.
Allow at least 20 minutes for the Main Unit to
start up after it has been fully discharged.
In order to protect the battery charging current
is reduced during the initial charging phase
(“trickle charge”). This is signaled by the red
LED indicator lamp with a faint red glow.

The Mains Indicator

Disconnect the Technical Cabinet form the
mains power supply.
Remove the Main Unit and change the fuse,
250V 1A. If needed use the spare fuse located
on the Main Unit Mount Assembly behind the
Main Unit.
Main Unit is on but
absolutely no data is
being uploaded
No measurement
session active on
the Web Portal
Inspect Web Portal settings and make sure the
Main Unit is assigned to the correct project
and measurement session.
Broken antenna(s) Inspect the antennas on the Technical Cabinet
for damages and replace them as needed
Main Unit is on but
data from one or
more Node is not
being uploaded
Broken antenna(s)
Inspect antennas on the affected Node for
damages and replace them as needed
Make sure they are sufficiently charges and
within the radio range of the Technical Cabinet
Check Node settings and try to do a Force
