Instructions for Installation and Use - Technical Cabinet with Main Unit and Nodes – Preliminary Draft –

3 Description of the System

3.1 Intended use and reasonably foreseeable misuse

The System is intended to be used solely as a Data Acquisition System in construction and

civil engineering projects within the European Economic Area (EEA). The System is not a

consumer product and should only be used by trained professionals. The System uses the

following frequency bands for radio and GSM communication:

Main Unit L-11 on multiple markets:

GSM: 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz
LTE-TDD: B38/B40/B41
LTE-FDD: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20
UMTS/HSPA+: B1/B5/B8
GSM/GPRS/EDGE: B3/B8

Nodes on the European market:

Proprietary encrypted data transfer protocol: 868 MHz – 870 MHz

The System shall be used in conjunction with the Web Portal and original PERI accessories

such as thermocouple cable, type T. The information provided in this

Instructions for

Installation and Use

has been upon the current level of information available, for the purpose

of specifying the requirements regarding environment, health and safety in association with

The System. The manufacturer does not take any responsibility for wrong using, processing

and handling of The System by the end-user.
The data and other information provided in this

applicable to the products (The System) sold by the Vemaventuri AB and not by any third party.

is valid only when The System is used as intended

and does not used with any other product combination. The end-user solely responsible for

transportation, handling, Storing, recycling, and disposing of The System. Vemaventuri AB is

not responsible for any warranties of any kind and nature or any injury resulting from abnormal

use (not intended) of The System.

3.2 Geographical Restrictions

The System is only intended to be used within the European Economic Area (EEA). The all

units of The System have CE compliance and a CE mark will be affix to every unit of The

System.
Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU requires that in cases of restrictions on putting into

service or of requirements for authorization of use, information available on the packaging shall

allow the identification of the Member States or the geographical area within a Member State

where restrictions on putting into service or requirements for authorization of use exist and that

such information shall be completed in the instructions accompanying the radio equipment.

The System is not intended for use outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Activating or even importing radio transmitters in some countries outside the European

Economic Area (EEA) could be illegal. Refer to national regulations concerning the

radio frequency bands used.
