Advanced Wireless Settings 

Advanced Wireless Settings provides more options to fine tune the parameters on the system to achieve 

the optimal performance.

Radio Settings 

 

Radio Settings 

Protocol 

Three options are available: 

802.11b/g

: Pepwave OfficePoint accepts both 802.11b and 802.11g client 

association requests. 

802.11b Only

:  Pepwave OfficePoint accepts only 802.11b client association 

requests. 

802.11g Only

:  Pepwave OfficePoint accepts only 802.11g client association 

requests. 

Operating Country 

This setting specifies the country / region whose regulations the Pepwave 

OfficePoint unit should follow.   
If United States is selected, RF channels 1 to 11 are available.  Maximum 

transmission power is 26 dBm (400 mW) for models of MPW-4xx, or 23dBm 

(200 mW) for models of MPW-2xx.   
If Europe region is selected, RF channels 1 to 13 are available. Maximum 

transmission power is 20 dBm (100 mW). 

Channel 

This option selects the 802.11 channel to be utilized. Available options for 

802.11b or 802.11g are from 1 to 11, and from 1 to 13 for the country setting of 

Default (US) and Europe, respectively. 
The system would perform channel scanning based on the scheduled time set.
