6.2 Function "linearisation" (041)
Linearisation defines the ratio of level to container vol u me or prod u ct weight and allows
a meas u rement in c u stomer u nits, e. g. metres, hectolitres etc. The meas u red val u e in
(000) is then displayed in the selected u nit.
This f u nction is u sed to select the linearisation modes.

The tank is linear e. g. a cylindrical vertical tank. Yo u can meas u re in c u stomer u nits b y
entering a maxim u m vol u me/weight.
Yo u can select the "customer unit" (042) . Define the vol u me val u e corresponding to
the cali b ration in "max. scale" (046) . This val u e corresponds to an o u tp u t of
100 % (= 20 mA for HART).

