The IDENTControl Compact sends a response and executes a read/write command from the
first address of the relevant channel. If the IDENTControl Compact is scheduled to execute the
command a number of times in succession, change the first four bytes of the telegram.
Remember to set the toggle bit.
Example
In this example, the tag type IPC03 is set on channel 2 and a read/write command is executed.
Prerequisites

One type IPH-XX read head is connected to channel 2.
■
The IP address of the IDENTControl Compact is preset.
■
A network connection is established.
Settings in the MODBUS master
The command

is executed. The tag type is set using the
change tag
(CT) command.
The IDENTControl Compact confirms the successful transaction. If the IDENTControl Compact
does not confirm the transaction, the master signals an error.
