Introduction
2.1
Purpose of manual
This manual shall assist the user when installing, starting and parameterising the valve interface FD0-VC-
Ex4.FF. In addition, it gives information of status/error messages, device safety and monitoring functions
as well as of fault diagnosis and fault elimination.
Section 6 "Parameterisation and operation of the valve coupler" focuses on the parameterisation of the
transducer blocks which include the valve control system and diagnosis functions specific for Pep-
perl+Fuchs. The representation of the function blocks and the resource block are specific for the control
system and documented within the area of the control system. A table of the functions of the DO function
blocks, the DI function block and the resource blocks is found in appendices B and C.
