The following modes are Green PC power saving functions. They are user-configurable
only during User Defined Power Management mode.
Doze Mode
After the selected period of system inactivity (1 minute to 1 hour), the CPU clock runs at
a slower speed while all other devices still operate at full speed.
Stand-By Mode
After the selected period of system inactivity (1 minute to 1 hour), the fixed disk drive
and the video shut down while all other devices still operate at full speed.
Suspend Mode
After the selected period of system inactivity (1 minute to 1 hour), all devices except the
CPU shut down.
HDD Power Down
After the selected period of drive inactivity (1 to 15 minutes), the HardDisk drive powers
down while all other devices remain active.
Throttle Duty Cycle
When the system enters Doze mode, the CPU clock runs only part of the time. You may
select the percentage of the time that the clock runs.
Soft-Off by PWR-BTTN
When you select Instant Off or Delay 4 Sec., turning the system off with the on/off button
places the system in a very low power usage state, either immediately or after 4
seconds, with only enough circuitry receiving power to detect power button activity or
Resume by Ring activity.
Power-on by Ring
When Enabled, an input signal on the serial Ring Indicator (RI) line (in other words, an
incoming call on the modem) awakens the system from a soft off state.
Resume by Alarm
When Enabled, you can set the date and time at which the RTC (real-time clock) alarm
awakens the system from suspend mode.
Date (of Month) Alarm
Select a date in the month when you want the alarm to go off.
Time (hh:mm:ss) Alarm
Set the time at which you want the alarm to go off.
