Changing The Settings Of Functions Of The Camera

Specifying the language displayed - Language

This sets the language (English/German/French/Spanish/Italian/Japanese) to be displayed on the
menu or as an error message.

Displaying the [Language] screen

Turn on the power to set the mode dial to the capture
mode mark.

Press the menu button to display the [Capture Settings]
menu.

Press the right key on the four-way controller three
times to display the [Preferences] menu.

Press the down arrow on the four-way controller seven
times to highlight the [Language] menu.

Press the left soft key to select the soft menu [Edit].

The [Language] screen appears on the display.

Setting the [Language]

Press the down arrow on the four-way controller to
highlight the language to be set.

[English] … A menu or message is displayed in
English.

Pressing the left soft key to select the soft menu
[Select] will return the system to the [Preferences]
menu.

Press the right soft key to select the soft menu [Exit].
