Using the function buttons

Press the display button to display the LCD monitor.

The digital zoom function can not be used unless
shooting by displaying the subject on the LCD monitor.
It is impossible to confirm the magnification rate using
the viewfinder.

Move the zoom lever towards the telephoto setting to
set the highest magnification rate.

e

Release your finger from the zoom lever once, and
move the zoom lever towards the telephoto setting
again.  The digital zoom function will be on and the
digital zoom symbol will be displayed on the LCD
monitor.
