23. Registering a handset to a base
(Registration)
This function allows you to select a base from those already registered to the
handset (up to 4 bases can be registered to one handset).
The display the shows the current base.
Use
or
key to select the desired base.
Press the “Select”
key. If you select a non-existent base, the
handset will sound a warning tone. After a short time, a confirmation
melody will sound, and the name of the handset will change
respectively.
The display shows "PIN ?".
Enter the current PIN code.
Press the “Reset”
key. If the PIN code is validated, all Base
settings will be returned to the factory default. Otherwise a warning
sound will be heard and the settings will remain. After resetting, the
handset will return to standby mode.
The supplied handset is already registered with the number 1. You can
register up to 5 handsets/door units to the same base (see chapter 28
"Optional accessories"). A handset can be registered to up to 4 bases.
Press and hold the key [59] on the bottom of the base for at least 5
seconds.
