Tripod and Column Installation

 

Drill three 3/16” (4.5 mm) pilot holes to mount lag bolts.

 

Drill three 3/4” (19 mm) holes through ceiling.

 

Secure tripod and ceiling plate to framing with    

 

 

5/16” x 4” lag bolts and washers. The 3/4” diameter spacers  

 

should be in direct contact with the framing. Insert ceiling  

 

plate between the 3/4” spacers and adjusting nuts.

 

noTe:

 If spacers rest against soft sheetrock,    

 

 

acoustical tile or plaster, the Helios light may be   

 

 unstable.

WaRnInG:

 Set screws must be tightened securely 

and roll pins installed to prevent column from 

unscrewing during operation. Failure to install roll pins 

and tighten set screws securely could result in the 

Helios Light falling from ceiling.

 

Main Power Connection

Route incoming electrical supply through the provided cable 

clamp. Connect the line, neutral and ground to the appropriate 

terminals.
