2-15 Front Weight Assembly

Locate the front frame bar of mower. On each side of the
front frame there is a tab on each side with an existing
oblong slot. The left and right brackets (2) P#(B0317)
are to be mounted to the inside of tab and the (2)
bracket mounts are to be mounted on the outside of tab.
See Figure 2-15b and 2-15c.
Mount the brackets to each side using (2) 3/8”-16 x 1-
1/4” HHCS bolts P#(K1192) and (2) 3/8”-16 nyloc nuts
P#(K1216) per side. The bolt should enter from the
outside of tab. See Figure 2-15c thru 2-15e.
Once the brackets are mounted and hardware tightened,
mount the weight to the front of the brackets using (1)
1/2”-13 x 4-5/16 x 4-1/4” U-bolts P#(K0331) and (2) 1/2”-
13 nyloc nuts P#(K1247) per side. The bolt should enter
from the outside of weight. Another person should help
with the weight or use a jack to hold weight in place until
secure. See Figure 2-15f.
