Removing The Rear Bumper Guard
Remove the four existing nuts and hex bolts that fasten
the rear bumper guard to the rear frame of the mower.
Set aside. This guard will be used in the next step. See
Figure 2-1c.
2-2 Lower Mount Tube Installation
Align the holes in the lower mount tube assembly
P# (A1720) with the holes on rear frame. Replace rear
guard plate on top of lower mount tube assembly and
fasten with (2) 3/8”-16 x 1-1/4” HHCS P#(K1192) and (2)
3/8”-16 nyloc nuts P#(K1216) on each side. Tighten
hardware. See Figure 2-2a thru 2-2c.

2-3 Lower Mount Clamp Bracket
Installation
Mount the lower mount clamp bracket P#(B0302) to the
lower mount tube assembly P#(A1720) and the tractor
rear guard. The bracket secures the tube to the tractor
rear frame. The bracket’s bend should be placed to the
inside of the rear frame edge. Place (1) 3/8”-16 x 2-1/4”
x 2-5/8” U-bolt P#(K1119) from the tube side. Secure
with (2) 3/8”-16 nyloc nuts P#(K1216). see Figure 2-3a
and 2-3b.
