The Top Control Bar
You will find a description of the most important elements of the top control bar
in the following section:
Name / IP Address of the Server PC
This field displays the name and IP address of the server computer that is
currently connected.
If the client program detects more than one server computer, use the drop-down
list to select the computer that you would like to connect to.
If a connection is not automatically established to a server, you can establish it
manually. To do so follow the instructions below:
Got to:
Start>Programs>PCTV Systems>DistanTV
and right click on the
entry:
Distan TV
From the context menu choose the entry
Properties
In the
Properties
dialog click the
Link
tab
Safe the link as is before changing any of its current properties.
In the
Execute in:
field, add the following parameter to the end of the
existing entry:
/host=<servername>
where "servername" is the name or IP
address of your server computer.
Confirm the changes by clicking
Apply
.
The connection will now be established.
