1.2.9 Handling the lithium-polymer battery (LiPo)
- To load use only the included charging cable. Any manipulation or alteration of the charging cable can cause serious damage.
Check the charging cable regularly for damage and do not use damaged charger cable.
- The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by incorrect use of the LiPo batteries.
- Do not take LiPo batteries in a fire or other heat sources.
- Do not remove or tamper with the LiPo battery.
- Avoid extreme Temperatures especially over 40° the battery could possibly overheat and/or explode.
- Do not throw the LiPo battery packs in the ground
- Do not open the LiPo.
- Avoid getting the product wet.
- Do not charge under direct sunlight or near a fire.
- Do not charge nor discharged the LiPo in reverse polarity
- Do not expose a leaking LiPo to bare skin.
1.2.10 What to do if the LiPo cells catch fire
If somehow the Lipo-cells catches fire please follow the following procedures:
- Stay calm and secure the area.
- Evacuate the area.
- If possible, remove all flammable objects from the danger area.
- Do not inhale the smoke or fumes. There is a risk of poisoning.
- Do not make any attempts to extinguish with water this could cause an explosion.
Only use the following to extinguishing a fire:
- Dry sand, fire extinguishers, fire blankets, suitable refractory lid, salt water. Approach the fire with the wind at your back and use
the extinguisher to extinguish the fire. Be sure to completely empty the extinguisher and make sure the fire area has been
completely smothered.
- Dispose of the pollutant remains as waste in accordance with government regulations only after complete cooling (> 2 hours)
to clear. Wear protective gloves.
- If you need assistance contact your local fire department for help.
1.3 Warranty Claims / Disclaimer
Please do not attempt to open the device. In the case of unauthorized opening any warranty by the manufacturer is null and void.
We recommend keeping the packing materials (cardboard, paper, transport bag) in the case you need to send your unit in for service.
