2.5 Initial Operations and Preparation
After you have unpacked the instrument and accessories, the first step is to setup the device:
Charging:
Take the monitor and connect it to the charger / power supply. Plug the power adapter to the outlet.
2.6 Installing the software
For a successful installation and operation of the software your computer must meet the following requirements:
System requirements
• PC/Laptop with Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, Windows 7
• CD-ROM drive
• Bluetooth
• Android-based Mobile Phones/Tablets version 2.1 and later
It is important to temporarily disable the virus scanner, for a successful installation!
Software Installation:
After starting the Windows operating system, you can install the colorStriker as follows:
1. Insert the CD-ROM into the drive of your computer.
2. If the installation does not start automatically, select „setup.exe“.
3. Follow the instructions in the setup program on the screen.
2.7 Connecting the device to your computer via Bluetooth
2.7.1 connection using the built-in Bluetooth
1. Activate your Bluetooth on PC / laptop (if not already on). See manual of the PC / laptop.
2. Now press the B button to turn it on. Now, the red operation - LED * (below the B button) and the green LED (below the A button)
will flash. In addition, the two function LEDs briefly light up together.
*The LEDs have to distinguish between the operation - LEDs and the function - LEDs. The operation - LEDs are the small visible
light below the buttons that light up in red and green color. The function - LEDs are the built-in LEDs, which are not seen from
outside. These are noticeable only on the lower side of the device in the form of circles of light.
