• SNMP Configuration

coldStart TRAP-TYPE 

ENTERPRISE snmp

DESCRIPTION

"A coldStart trap signifies that the sending protocol entity is reinitializing 

itself such that the agent's configuration or the protocol entity implementation 
may be altered."

Note

The standard SNMP version 1 trap coldStart as listed below is 

not

 sup-

ported. After powering up, a warmStart trap message is sent if any trap target 
host is defined.

SNMP Interface Traps

The CL2300 sends Interface Traps (

linkUp

, 

linkDown

) when the status of logical or physical interfaces change. 

Logical interfaces are interfaces defined in the IP context and CS context. Physical interfaces are ports. 

The CL2300 adds an entry to event log for each Interface Traps it sends:
