RES Details
The
RES
command is used to zero out the primary setpoint (
RES
), or
to preload positions into the Coordinated Moves Profiler and Actual
Position registers (example:
RES X10
).
See Figure 3 for a diagram of the profiler and summation registers for
the command
RES X10
. The values of the Coordinated Moves
Profiler, Primary and Secondary Setpoints, and Actual Position
registers have been changed to 10. The remaining profilers have
been changed to zero.

If
RES
is used without an axis and preload value, all the registers shown in
Figure 3 would be zero (0).
