16  Installer’s Guide

4.0 DETECTORS AND CONTACT SWITCHES

Programming for the wireless detectors and the contact switches is accomplished in
three steps:   
1) Detectors and contact switches must be assigned to the Liberator Wireless Bus

Module. 

2) The detectors and contact switches from the Liberator Wireless Bus Module must

be assigned to zones in the 

Digiplex Control Panel

. 

3) The zone parameters must be defined in the

 Digiplex Control Panel

. 

For more details concerning zones, refer to the 

Digiplex Control Panel's Reference

& Installation Manual

.

Complete the 

Programming Guide

  (see section 6.0 of this manual) while

assigning the detectors and contact switches. The serial numbers and the
inputs that they are assigned to will be needed when programming the
zones in the control panel.

For example, when assigning a detector or contact switch to the Receiver Module: 
1) The serial number and input number will be assigned in section

In these sections you will assign the detectors and contact switches to the Liberator
Wireless Bus Module. Up to 16 detectors or contact switches can be assigned to
each Receiver Module.
