Issue Diagnosis

Issue

Potential Solution

• Battery terminals hot.

• Check tightness of battery terminals,

ensure no corrosion or debris is built up on
terminals.

• Battery not staying charged.

• Ensure battery fluid level is topped up, plug

in trickle charge or solar charger, ensure
solar panel is getting sunlight.

• Remote control not working.

• Replace batteries, try using remote

at a closer location. Verify that the lift
operates with the hard wired controller.
Electromagnetic interference could disrupt
signal.

• Lift does not actuate with hard wired

controller.

• Check battery voltage. Verify that all wires

are plugged in. Check that the hydraulic
pump motor is actuating.

• Hydraulic hoses are difficult to connect.

• Check for debris on threads. Use a wrench to

connect quick disconnects. Depressurize the
system as described in Step 10 of Assembly
Instructions.

• Hydraulic fluid in power pack box.

• Fluids may have overflowed due to air in

system. Check all fittings and tighten as
necessary.

• Lift is noisy/squeaky when operating.

• Tighten all bolts and relubricate all pins with

marine grease.

• RC unit won’t work

• Check that RC unit fuse is good. Shown in

picture below:
