6.6.2 Common Problems
P1 No AC power supply
P2 No DC power supply
P3 Motor failure
P4 Faulty heating light
P5 Fuser unit failure
Possible cause Solutions
The voltage is unsuitable. Ensure suitable voltage from the power
supply.
The power cord is not connected to the
outlet correctly. Make sure that the power cord is connected
to the outlet correctly.
The fuse has blown. Replace the power board.
Possible cause Solutions
There is no AC power supply. Make sure the AC power supply is normal.
The low-voltage power supply is faulty. Replace the power board.
Possible cause Solutions
The motor cable is faulty. Make sure that the cable is connected correctly
and there are no quality problems.
The main motor is faulty. Replace any other motors, ensure that the
main motor is working normally, and replace it
if it is not.
Engine board failure. Replace the engine board.
Possible cause Solutions
The high-voltage power supply circuit
board is disconnected. Reconnect the plug wire and ensure that the
AC power supply is working normally.
There is jammed paper inside of the
printer. Check the printer and remove the jammed
paper inside of it.
The output sensor cannot be closed. Clean or replace the output sensor.
The Paper Feed Sensor is faulty. Replace the Paper Feed Sensor.
Thermistor failure Replace the fuser component.
The temperature relay is disconnected. Replace the fuser component.
Engine board failure Replace the engine board.
Possible cause Solutions
There is a poor connection to the
thermistor plug wire. Reconnect the wire.
The temperature relay has burnt out. Replace the fuser component.
Halogen heating light failure. Replace the fuser component.
