Cutting SandBlast on Panther plotter

1.  Use a Roland 60° blade and adjust blade as the thickness of the material.

2.  Use a heavy duty blade holder.

3.  Slow your cutter down as slow as you can. (See Page 4.3 for directions on changing cutting speed)

4.  Tangential mode enabled.  (See Page 4.3 for directions on changing cutting speed)

5.  Cut the material on workable sheets, This Material will not track correctly if you are using it directly from
       the roll.  

6.  Perform cut test then adjust depth as necessary.

7.  Use 3 pinch rollers

8.  If you are using VE LXI or Flexi sign 

Turn off

 Cutting Driver Options Go to the cut/plot screen.

Then click your Properties button on the cut/plot screen

• 

Click on the Cut tab. Select the Cutter driver options located in the bottom tight hand corner.

• 

Choose None and Click OK.

• 

Click OK until you are back to the Production Manager.

• 

Minimize your Production Manager

• 

Click the advance tab of your cut/plot screen. Then click your Cutter driver options in the lower right

Choose None and Click OK.

Your Cutter is now set to cut at its slowest possible speed.

9.  You may have to adjust your scale length and scale width according with the thickness of the media you  
      are using.
