*NOTE: The IR function enables the user to control the DVD (or other video source) even
when the TV and the DVD are not in the same room. The user can use the DVD’s remote
control unit by pointing the remote control at the IR receiver located on the TV unit. Te IR
signals are conveyed by the wireless signal to the transmitter.
