CAUTION: Occasionally, hot kernels may be thrown from the Popping Chamber. To avoid
any contact with hot kernels, keep face and hands away from the Front Cover and keep
children away from the unit.
10. The popping cycle is complete when the popping sound becomes infrequent or less
intense (Approximately 2-3 seconds between pops).
To avoid burning your popcorn, immediately press the On/Off Switch to the “OFF” (O)
position. Unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
NOTE: Due to variances in the popcorn type, freshness, moisture and content, some
popped or unpopped kernels may remain in the Popping Chamber after popping has
stopped. To prevent scorching, turn the On/Off Switch to the “OFF” (O) position and unplug
without waiting for these kernels to clear from the Popping Chamber.
CAUTION: Some kernels may continue to pop even after the unit is unplugged. Make sure
all popping has stopped before removing the Front Cover, Canopy and Kernel Scoop/Butter
Warmer.
11. Using oven mitts or hot pads, carefully remove
the Front Cover and Canopy. Pour the remaining
popcorn into the bowl and then immediately
place the Front Cover and Canopy back on the
unit. The Covers must be cooled on the unit to
avoid malformation.
TIP: To help retain the moisture content of the kernels, always store in an airtight
container at room temperature.
Additional Batches
1.
ALWAYS WAIT AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE POPPING A SECOND BATCH OF
POPCORN. This will allow the unit to cool and the internal thermostat to reset. After
each batch, unplug the unit and allow it to cool before removing the Front Cover and
Canopy.
2. Check to make sure the Popping Chamber is empty and the unit is unplugged and
cool. Carefully wipe down the Popping Chamber with a soft damp cloth and the
Stanley Cup® Popcorn Maker is ready to use again.
IMPORTANT: If the Kernel Scoop/Butter Warmer was used to melt butter or margarine,
wash and dry it thoroughly before using to measure kernels for your next batch.

REMARQUE :
En r aison des divers t ypes de maïs à souffler, de leur niv eau de fraîcheur ,
de leur teneur en eau et de leur c ontenu , cer tains grains soufflés ou non soufflés peuv ent
rest er dans la chute de r emplissage une fois que l ’écla temen t s’est arr êté. P our éviter de les
brûler , tourne z l’in terr upteur de Mar che/Arrêt sur ARRÊT ( O) et débr anchez l ’appar eil sans
attendr e que ces gr ains ne sorten t de la chambre à écla ter.

fron tale, la hott e et la petite pelle/chauff e-beurr e.
11. À l’aide de gan ts de cuisine , retir ez pr udemment
le couv ercle fr ontal et le c ouvercle supérieur .
Verse z le rest e de maïs soufflé dans le bol et
remett ez immédia temen t le couv ercle fr ontal
et le couv ercle supérieur sur l ’appar eil. C es
couv ercles doiv ent êtr e refr oidis sur l’appar eil
pour éviter t oute malf ormation.
CONSEIL :
Pour aider à pr éserver la t eneur en eau des grains , range z-les toujours dans un
con tenan t étanche à l’air à t empératur e ambian te ou au r éfrigérat eur.

couv ercle supérieur .
2. Assur ez-v ous que la chambre à écla ter est vide et que l ’appar eil est débranché et
froid . Nett oye z la chambre à écla ter en l ’essuy ant soigneusemen t à l’aide d ’un linge
doux et humide et l’écla teur de maïs à air chaud C oupe Stanley
MC
est prêt à êtr e
utilisé.
