Input level meter
This indicates the audio level being input to the microphone unit when the status of the
product is “talking”.
This can be switched ON/OFF with the input level meter setting switch (

).
On (red)
: Loud. Move further away.
On (orange)
: A little loud. Move a little further away.
On (2 green indicators) : Level is acceptable.
On (1 green indicator) : Low. Move closer.

Charge indicator (charger) / Talk indicator
When using a charger to charge
Shows the charge status.
On (red)
: The Ni-MH batteries inside the product are being recharged via
charger.
Blinking (red) : Charging error (primary battery / battery short / temperature
abnormality detected / battery not inserted).
Off :
Charging completed, or the product has been put into the charger
but there are no batteries inside, or there are bits of metal interfering
with the charging part of the charger.
When talking
Indicates the talk status.
On (red)
: Not talking
Blinking (red) : Talking and the receiver channel is muted
Off
: No signal or talking

Talk button
Button for outputting audio.
The operation of this button depends on the setting of the PTT setting switch (

).
When talk lock is set
When the talk button is touched once, the talk indicators (

) light green and audio is
output.
When the talk button is touched again, the talk indicator (

) lights red and audio output
is stopped.
When push to talk (PTT) is set
While touching the talk button continuously, the talk indicators (

) light green and
audio is output.

USB Type-C connector
It is possible to supply the product with power or to charge batteries inserted in the
product. Maintenance tasks can be performed by connecting with a PC on which the
settings support software has been installed.
