25.2.11 Water Flow Switch Abnormality (- / - / H62)
Malfunction Decision Conditions:
During operation of cooling and heating, the water flow detected by the indoor water flow switch is used to
determine water flow error.
Malfunction Caused:
1. Faulty water pump.
2. Water leak in system.
3. Faulty connector connection.
4. Faulty water flow switch.
5. Faulty indoor unit PCB (main).
Abnormality Judgment:
Continue for 10 seconds (but no judgment for 9 minutes after compressor startup/restart).
Troubleshooting:
For safety reason and to prevent component breakdown,
always switch off the power before remove and connect the component.
Check the system water pump
Is the CN4 connector
connection normal?
- Defect in flow sensor.
- Replace the flow sensor
Check the water system passage
Is the water pump working?
Is there any water leakage

Replace the faulty water
pump
- Connector poor contact.
- Correct the connection.
- Defect in indoor unit PCB
(main).
- Replace the indoor unit PCB
(main).
Fix the water leakage
Check the CN-FLWSEN connector connection:
- Turn OFF the power.
- Check the connector connection
Check the Vdc from the indoor unit PCB
(main):
- Disconnect flow sensor from the indoor
unit PCB terminal CN-FLWSEN
- Turn ON the power.
- Measure the Vdc as shown in Figure 1
(pin 1 and 3)
- Is the Vdc measurement 5Vdc?
