Quick Boot Manager
NOTE
Do not touch the keyboard, touch pad, mouse, screen, or other interface device while Boot Training is in progress.
Perform the following to clear all Quick Boot Manager settings.
1
Launch Quick Boot Manager.
2
Click [Clear all settings].
Follow the on-screen instructions.
If quick booting at startup is enabled in either [Easy quick boot mode] or [Detailed quick boot wizard], the following will
occur.
• The [Panasonic] boot screen will not appear immediately after the computer is turned on.
To start the Setup Utility, press and hold
F2
or
Del
while turning the computer on. Hold down
F2
or
Del
until the Setup
Utility screen appears.
• Startup via USB devices connected to the USB port and startup via LAN will be disabled.
• If an external DVD drive is connected to the USB port and a disc is inserted, playback may start automatically.
• The animation will not appear during Windows startup. (Easy quick boot mode only)
Use the internal keyboard when operating the Setup Utility or entering the supervisor and user passwords.
Depending on settings, display of the [Panasonic] boot screen and the Windows startup logo will be bypassed after you
turn the computer on. Therefore, a period where nothing is displayed on the screen will continue for a few moments until
Windows starts up. Please wait until the Windows screen appears.
If you delete restore points, the system and files cannot be restored to a previous state using the system’s restore function
or using a previous version.
If the function that periodically creates restore points is disabled, restore points will not be created unless software
applications and devices are installed or the system is modified.
In addition, previous versions, which are normally saved everyday under default conditions, will not be saved.
