[Picture] menu
On the menu screen, select [Picture] from the main menu, and select an item from the sub-menu.
Refer to “Navigating through the menu” (

page 53) for the operation of the menu screen.
[Image Settings]
Set the image settings.
1) Press

to select [Image Settings].
2) Press

or the <ENTER> button.

The
[Image Settings]
screen is displayed and you can select an item for setting.

If no signal is detected, then [Image Settings] menu items are hidden.
[Picture Mode]
You can switch to the desired picture mode most suitable for the image source and the environment in which the
projector is used.

to select [Picture Mode].

or the <ENTER> button.

[Picture Mode]
screen is displayed.
3) Press

to switch the item.

The items will switch each time you press the button.
[Standard]
The picture becomes suitable for movie-based images in general.
[Cinema]
Select this mode to provide the best colors for watching movies.
[Natural]
Select this mode for natural looking colors with a balance of warm and cool tones.
[Rec709]
Select this mode to match the REC.709 color standard as closely as possible.
[DICOM SIM.]
Select this mode for viewing monochrome medical images such as X-rays, MRIs, etc.
[Dynamic]
Select this mode to increase contrast when viewing gray or dark contents.
[Graphic]
Select this mode to display PC / Photo sources.
[Black Board]
Select this mode to achieve optimum color settings when projecting onto a black board.
[White Board]
Select this mode to achieve optimum color settings when projecting onto a white board.
[User]
Select this mode for user customized color setting.
[3D]
This item can be selected only when the 3D function is enabled. To experience 3D you need DLP
Link 3D glasses and video source capable of sending 3D content.

Rec709 is an abbreviation of “ITU-R Recommendation BT.709” and is color standard of high-definition television.

DICOM is an abbreviation of “Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine” and is a standard for medical imaging devices. Although the
DICOM name is used, the projector is not a medical device, and display images should not be used for medical purposes such as diagnosis.

If the [Picture Mode] is set to [3D], the other items under [Picture Mode] are grayed out.

If the high refresh rate (96 Hz or higher) signal is input, only [Cinema] can be selected.
[Brightness]
You can adjust the dark (black) part of the projected image.

to select [Brightness].

screen is displayed.

to adjust the level.
