Tape Trade Editing
When performing a Programme Editing after this VCR and Panasonic Digital Video Camera have been connected
using an Edit cable and a DV cable (cable for sending video and audio signals), this function enables the Editing
controller of this VCR to set the edit points for the playback unit.
It makes it easy to accomplish those operations using the Jog/Shuttle functions, which are so crucial for setting the
edit points, with the same operational “feel” of the operating the playback unit without depending on the playback unit
operations.
Settings for the tape in the playback unit

Insert the tape to be used for the playback unit in this
VCR, and set the switches as shown below.

Register the playback unit’s editing programmes.

pages 46 to 51.)

Remove the tape to be used for the playback unit from
this VCR, and insert it in the playback unit.
(Leave the playback unit in the playback mode.)
