Remote Operation from a Touch Tone Phone
Setting the Remote Code
The remote code prevents unauthorised people from accessing your unit and listening to your
messages. Choose any 3-digit number (000–999). The remote code is not preset.
Make sure that the power is ON (p. 14) and the unit is in the stand-by mode.
Cancelling the remote operation
You can prohibit anyone from accessing to your
unit and listening to your recorded messages
remotely. Erase the remote code in the following
way. After this programming, you cannot use the
remote operation functions (p. 43–45).
