24.1. Introduction

The DPL3519A

IC2401

is designed as a stand alone

Dolby Surround Pro Logic decoder. It can also be
used as a co-processor with the MSP3410 /
MSP3400 IC’s as is here on EURO4. The DPL3519A

IC2401

is also pin compatible to the MSP

IC2101

The software control for the DPL3519A

IC2401

almost the same as for the MSP3400

IC2101

with the

volume and tone controls using the same registers
and values. The main difference with the controlling
software for the DPL3519A

IC2401

is the addition of

the Dolby Pro Logic control software that is required.
