8-5  Replacing the Drum Cartridge

Daily Care

8

Hold the orange lever and
swing it to the left to open
the toner cartridge holder.
Turn the green lever at the
centre of the transfer unit
clockwise until the lever is
in the horizontal position.

Slowly pull out about half
of the drum cartridge while
pressing the orange button
at the top of the drum
cartridge.

Never touch a labelled
area found on or near
the fuser unit. You can
get burnt.

Hold the handle at the top
and pull the drum cartridge
straight out.

Remove the new drum
cartridge from the package
and align the drum
cartridge with the two rails.

Contact your local authorized
Panasonic servive representative for
disposal of used drum cartridges.
