Reinstalling Windows
Click [Start]-[Run], type "C:\INSTALL.BAT", and then click [OK].
NOTE
When reinstallation is performed, the computer does not return to the same settings for some
Windows programs. If these programs are required, check the necessary items in [Control
Panel]-[Add/Remove Programs]-[Windows Setup], add the "Infrared" utility in [Control Panel]-
[Add New Hardware] and uncheck the "Infrared" item.
When using the 1024 X 768 model, icons are displayed smaller after reinstalling. Please set
[font size] to [Small Fonts], then set it to [Large Fonts] in [Display Properties].
<For CF-61KXF4BAM/E model only>
After the reinstallation, regional settings and keyboard layout are set for U.S.A. If necessary,
click [Regional Settings] and [Keyboard] in [Control Panal]. Then set them properly.

Turn off the computer and disconnect all the cables from computer.
Connect the docking unit or port replicator. (Refer to the Operating Instructions)
Refer to the instruction manuals for the docking unit or port replicator for details.
Click [Start]-[Settings]-[Control Panel]-[System].
Follow steps 17 to 21 above; from the <For CF-61KXF4BAM/E model only>.
<For the docking unit>
Click [System]-[Hardware Profiles]. Delete "Dock 1", and rename "zvok" to "CF-VEB611".
Click [OK].
<For the port replicator>
Click [System]-[Hardware Profiles]. Delete "Dock 1", and rename "zvok" to "CF-VEB612".
Click [OK].

With the power off, insert the "FirstaidFD" into the floppy disk drive. Then, turn the power on.
The following screen will appear:
1. Boot
2. Restore HDD to factory default
Select option 1.

If necessary, install CardWorks, TranXit and Seagate Backup using the following procedure.
Insert the "Firstaid CD" into the PD/CD drive.
Click [Start]-[Settings]-[Control Panel]-[Add/Remove Programs].
Click [Install/Uninstall].
