The underline on the setting item denotes the initial setting.
0: No control exercised.
1: Transfers operation to the EJECT mode.
0: Records the edit IN point.
1: Enables recording on a cassette tape when the tape’s
accidental erasure prevention mechanism has been set to
recording enable.
0: Inhibits recording on the cassette tape.
0: Inhibits overwriting during normal recording.
0: Disables all operations performed using the front panel
buttons in the REMOTE mode.
1: Enables the operation of only the STOP and EJECT
buttons on the front panel in the REMOTE mode.
0: Uses the external time code which is input from the time
code input connector.
0: Uses the time code of the internal time code generator.
0: No control exercised.
1: Switches the picture frame during down-conversion to the
squeeze mode.
2: Switches the picture frame during up-conversion to the
stretch mode.
3: Switches the picture frame during down-conversion to the

point has not been entered.
1: Switches operation in the tape protection mode to tension
release when the unit has been left standing in the STOP
mode or STILL mode in one of the search modes (JOG,
VAR or SHTL).
0: Transfers operation to the STANDBY OFF mode.
For allocating the statuses to the pins of the PARALLEL
REMOTE connector. When the STOP button is pressed, the
display transfers to the submenu screen, and what is to be
controlled is selected for each of the pins. To return from the
submenu screen, press the STOP button again.
