● A lock can be paired to a Kapture Cloud account. And the account will be the Owner
to the lock.
● To change the Owner, please reset the lock and pair it to another new account. The
former Owner account will no longer access the lock via the app and removal to the
lock is recommended. The Link needs to re-pair as well if you have one.
● After completing the pairing, a Bluetooth icon will pop up on the app to the lock you
set. The Bluetooth icon shows on the access page in the app and tells the availability
to the lock through the app. Remember that some functions can not be used when
out of the Bluetooth connection.
Lock Settings in Kapture App
● Lock settings on the Kapture app :
○ Change the keypad code.
○ Volume control: three stages and mute.
○ Lock out(Keypad disabled): off/on
○ Auto-lock: off/on (delay 10-99 seconds)
Please note that Guest can only set the volume.
● Lock information on the Kapture app:
○ Serial No
○ Firmware Version
○ Model No
○ Battery Level (change by time)
● To change the settings needs the app to connect with the lock through the Bluetooth.
● All the settings keeps in the audit trail.
User Roles
● Different account has a different user role.
○ Owner
■ The account has paired to the lock.
■ Able to remove the lock.
■ Able to invite/cancel another account to access the lock.
■ Able to check the audit trail.
■ Able to revise the lock settings and the keypad code(Master Code).
■ Able to update the firmware of the lock and the Link.
■ Able to access the lock at any time when near the lock.
■ In LINK Mode :
● Able to receive a real-time alert/notification.
● Able to access the lock remotely.
○ Family
■ Invited by Owner.
■ Able to invite/cancel another account to access the lock.
