Notice: When the water heater is installed at the high altitude (above 3,280 feet) (0 ~ 1,000
m), adjust the high altitude chip according to the High Altitude DIP Switch Adjustment.
Notice: A different Sea Level Chip is required for Indoor, Outdoor and Direct Vent models,
types of gas and serial number. Check the number on the Sea Level Chip. (Refer to the table
comes with the chip.)
(12) Change the Dip Switch #1 and #2 setting to the “OFF”
position. DO NOT alter any other DIP Switch. (The LED
on the PCB and the display of the remote control stops
illuminating.)
(13) Attach the unit’s front cover.
(14) Turn on the gas shutoff valve and water shutoff valve.
(15) Check and ensure safe operation and performance of
the water heater.
