Now configure the SSID (or BSSID), Channel, and Security settings to match those of the
Wireless Access Point.

Finish the configuration of the O3G in Client Bridge Mode by assigning it a unique IP address
if it is not connected to a DHCP server.

You should be able to verify performance from the client device by sending a ping request to
the IP address of the Wireless Access Point or by accessing the GUI through your Web
Browser at the same address.

Wireless
With the WAP-O3G operating in Client Bridge mode, the
main menu shows three options under the Wireless section:

Network Settings
In the WAP-O3G main menu, in the Wireless section, choose Network Settings. The
Network Settings page appears where you can configure the settings of your WAP-
O3G’s wireless mode, channel, SSID, and WDS client.
802.11 Mode
: Choose the setting that corresponds to the type of wireless
clients connected to your network:

G
, or
B/G-mixed.
If you aren’t sure which
type(s) of clients will access the wireless networks, it’s recommended to choose
B/G-mixed
for best performance.
SSID
: The SSID is the name that will be broadcast over the wireless network to
identify the WAP-O3G. You can set an SSID in one of two ways: type a name in
