POOR SPRAY PATTERN

Thin with water or appropriate solvent
Diaphragm under lid of the
cup not installed or dirty
Install or clean Diaphragm

No pressure in cup
Tighten cup into sprayer
Blocked air passageway in
sprayer body
Clean passageway (4mm vent hole
underneath the cup lid)
MATERIAL DRIPS OR RUNS ON SPRAYED SURFACE

Too much material being
sprayed
Turn fluid control dial anti-clockwise

Increase the speed of your pass
Material too diluted
Add un-thinned material to
accomplish correct run time
Spraying too close to
painting surface
Hold sprayer at right angle to the
painting surface and at a distance of
2-12 inches
HEAVY MATERIAL ON ONE SIDE OF THE PATTERN

Air cap holes partially
blocked
Clean air cap thoroughly
MATERIAL DRY OR ROUGH ON SPRAYED SURFACE

Not enough material being
sprayed
Turn fluid control dial clockwise (+)
Sprayer held too far from
surface
Hold sprayer at a distance of 2-12
inches, or closer for small objects
Spray passes not well
overlapped
Overlap passes by about 1/3 width
over previous pass
PAINT LEAKING FROM FRONT OF GUN

Worn or damaged nozzle
Replace nozzle
Debris or dried material in
nozzle
Clean nozzle
SPRAYING IN A PULSATING MANNER
Cause Fix
Material cup is almost empty Refill material cup
