Chap 4 System programming
4.1 Before programming

All the programming can be carried out on normal phone, PC management software and
4 lines key phone, following details instruction carried on normal phone.
z
Trunk means telephone line, connect with the Line1-line8 of this system, also called
C.O.line; User line means 601-632 extension port line, also called internal line.
z
All the extensions must be of dual tone multi-frequency phone.
z
All the programming, if input correct will hear one “DU” sound, and if input wrong will
hear three “DU” sound. When inputing, must wait for the final sound and then can input,
otherwise will cause wrong inputing. Finished the programming, the functions take effect
immediately and not need be power off.
z
You are allowed to operate one by one, and end the process by simply pressing #. You
don’t have to hang up if something wrong occurs, you could press * to restart.

All the optional function in this manual, not all the system can be have, please see the
function list for the detail function.
NOTE:

Following set must be carried on the condition of the programming; the extension
number N is 01-32 (two digits); external line number M is 1-8(one digit).
z
Programming Extensions is Ext. 601, 602, 603, 604 and the first operator(Ext.602) and
the second operator(Ext.601),
z
Defualt Extensions Call No. is 601-632, if no special instruction, Ext. No. means Ext. Call
No.
4.2 Basic Command
4.2.1 Enter into System Programming Status
Format: # * EFGH
Explanation: EFGH is the system password now.
Example: For programming the system, you should enter the password first ,
now the password is 1234.
1. You are required to dial: * # * EFGH in the Direct-Dialing-Out mode.
2. When the first digit of function code is * and the office code is # (refer 4.2.6), then you
should dial * # EFGH (or # * # EFGH if the Ext in the Direct-Dialing-Out mode)
3. The default password is 0000, so you must enter # * 0000 in the first use
