Use a strong rope to lower the pump and
ensure that the angle is such that it cannot
form air bubbles, which will be sucked into
the pump. Slowly lower the pump and if
required, adjust the pump’s position. Next,
secure the pump using the rope. The pump
can now be connected to the power supply
and switched on.
IMPORTANT - The pump may not be used
with corrosive, flammable or explosive
substances (e.g. petrol, petroleum), grease,
oil, saltwater, wastewater/sewage, etc. The
liquid’s temperature may not exceed 35
o
C.
Installation
The equipment requires a working area of at least 60 x 60 cm. The pump lift height
and suction depth is stated in the technical specifications. Once the equipment is
lowered, ensure that the suction opening cannot be blocked by foreign objects.
IMPORTANT - Do not lift the pump using the cable or pressurised hose, since these
are not designed to bear the weight of the pump. The float switch must be able to
move so that the pump does not operate dry. Avoid the pump from turning over on
its centre section.
It is recommended that the pump is flushed using clean water after use to
ensure that there is no dirt inside the pump when it is next used.
