Troubleshooting
In most cases, problems can be easily rectified:

Solution
The pump does not start
Power has not been
connected.
Check.
The float switch is not
switched on.
Lift it up.
No water.
The suction opening is
blocked.
Clean.
Pressurised hose has a
kink.
Clear the kink.
The pump will not switch
off.
The float switch cannot
sink.
Rectify.
Insufficient flow rate.
The suction opening is
blocked.
Clean.
Dirt and particles cause
wear on the pump, which
can reduce the pump’s
flow.
Clean and replace
damaged parts.
The pump switches off
after a short time.
If the water is too dirty,
the pump can become
stuck and the pump
motor fuse will trip.
Disconnect power from
the pump and clean the
pump.
If the water is too hot, the
motor fuse will trip.
Ensure that the water
temperature does not
exceed 35
o
C.
