Installing the pressure hose
Risk of damage to the machine!
The pressure hose must be installed so that it does not exert any mechanical
force or tension on the pump.
•
All connections must be sealed with packing compound (Fermit) and hemp or sealing
tape; leaks cause air leakage and reduce or prevent water leakage.
•
Hemp must be used for threaded metal pipes; synthetic threads must be sealed with
thread sealing tape.
•
All pressure hose components must be compression-proof.
•
All pressure hose components must be installed by a qualified professional.
The machine can also be permanently connected to a pipe system (e.g. for indoor
water supply for domestic use). Then the machine must be connected to the pipe
system with elastic high-pressure hoses to prevent vibrations.
Personal injury hazard!
If the components are not compression-proof or if they are incorrectly installed,
the pressure hose may burst during operation. You can get hurt when the liquid
splashes out.
Note:
The machine may not be used to pump drinking water.
Electrical connection
Danger – Risk of electric shock!
Never use the machine in a wet environment.
The machine may only be used in following conditions:
•
The machine may only be connected to fused sockets which have been installed,
earthed and checked by a qualified professional.
•
Mains voltage and fuse must match the technical specifications.
•
When the machine is used in pools, garden ponds, etc., the machine must be
connected to a
fused
fault current relay
.
