Safety instructions
Meaning of symbols
This warning symbol is used to warn against personal injury or death, and
against damage to the machine, its surroundings and to property.
This symbol indicates information that can help the user to have a better
understanding of the processes.
General safety instructions
•
Read and understand the entire manual before using the pump.
•
Always follow the safety instructions.
•
Keep all instructions for later use.
•
If the machine is sold or lent to someone else, the manual must be included.
•
The equipment may only be used if it functions properly. If it is faulty, it must be
repaired by a
qualified professional.
•
Never use the equipment in areas where there is an explosion hazard or in the vicinity
of flammable liquids or gases.
•
When the machine is switched off, make sure that it cannot be started unintentionally.
•
Do not use the equipment , if the ON/OFF switch does not function properly.
•
Keep children at a safe distance from the machine. Keep out of the reach of children and
other unauthorised persons.
•
Do not overload the machine. Only use the machine for the purpose it is designed for.
•
Exercise caution and only use the machine when in good health. The machine should
not be used if the user is tired, ill, has consumed alcohol, medication or illegal drugs.
•
The machine is not intended to be used by persons (including children) who are limited
in their physical, sensory or mental abilities, or who lack experience and/or knowledge
of the machine, unless they are supervised or have received instruction in the use of the
machine from a responsible person.

Make sure that children cannot play with the machine.
•
Always comply with all national and international laws relating to safety, health and the
working environment.
Electrical safety
•
The person responsible for the installation must ensure that the system is connected
according to the applicable regulations.
•
The equipment may only be connected to a plug that is correctly installed and which has
an earth connection.
•
Make sure that the power supply matches the markings on the equipment before
connecting it – if it does not, do not connect it.
•
Do not touch the plug with wet hands and always unplug by pulling the plug and not by
pulling the cable.
