8. Installing the Fixture
Warning! Avoid coiled cords. Coiled cords may lead to electromagnetic
interference.
Warning! Always install the lamp before connecting the fixture to the main
power source
Warning! Ensure the local cabling can support the voltage and current re-
quirements of the fixture.

• Switch off mains power source
• Install the lamp in the fixture (see paragraph 10.1).
8.1. Power and Lamp
Warning! Always allow ample space above the installed fixture to ensure good
airflow. This will prevent an excessive build-up of heat between the fixture and
the ceiling which could result in damage to the electronics components and/or
lamp.
