Fitting the Cartridge Filter - Vacuuming Dry Matter

The cartridge filter should come pre-assembled onto the vacuum unit.

However it is still a good idea to check that it has not come loose

during transport and is still properly fitted before use.

For dry vacuum cleaning always

use the cartridge filter. Mount

the filter so that no air is sucked

through the filter cage without

first being filtered.

1.  Press the flat end of the

cartridge filter onto the filter

cage until it is stopped by the

step in the lid part.

2.  Place the filter lid on the

bottom of the filter and turn

the handle clockwise to lock it

into place.

3.  To remove the filter, turn the filter lid handle anti-clockwise to

release it. Remove both the filter lid and cartridge filter.

NOTE:

Do not use the foam filter when vacuuming dry matter.

Fitting the Foam Filter - Vacuuming Liquid

For wet-vacuuming, slip the

supplied foam filter over the filter

cage.

NOTE:

 Do not use the cartridge

filter when vacuuming liquid.

WARNING!

SWITCH OFF THE EQUIPMENT IF LIQUID

OR FOAM IS EMITTED WITH THE EXHAUST AIR

WHEN WET VACUUM CLEANING.

WARNING!

THE WET & DRY VACUUM IS NOT

SUITABLE FOR THE VACUUMING OF COMBUSTIBLE

LIQUIDS.

WARNING!

WHEN WET VACUUMING, THE

AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY

IS REACHED. TURN OFF THE VACUUM & EMPTY

THE TANK BEFORE CONTINUING TO VACUUM.

Draining Liquids From The Tank

Spills and puddles can be vacuumed directly into the tank with the

foam filter fitted for easy clean up and disposal.

Note:

When vacuuming large quantities of liquid, do not immerse the

nozzle completely into the liquid, leave a gap at the nozzle/tool to

allow air inflow.

1.  Hold the vacuum over a laundry sink or household drain.

Note:

Only dispose of liquid waste into household sinks & drains

if safe to do so. Improper disposal of hazardous waste can cause

pollution and harm.

2.  Turn the drain outlet cap

anti-clockwise to loosen and

remove it.

3.  Allow any collected liquid

in the tank to flow out.

Tip the vacuum slightly

to allow any liquid at the

bottom of the tank to flow

out too.

4.  Rinse out the tank if

necessary and replace the

drain outlet cap.
