Fitting the Brush Cutter Blade

3. BRUSH CUTTER BLADE

1. Fit the Carrier Plate over the spindle. Place

the Brush Cutter Blade onto the Carrier
Plate, ensuring that the hole in the blade
is correctly seated. Also ensure that the
direction of rotation arrows on the blade
match the arrow on the blade guard.

2. Place the Pressure Plate on the spindle,

followed by the Pressure Plate cover and
loosely fit the nut, turning

counter-clockwise

(the nut has a left-hand thread).

3. Before tightening the nut, align the hole

in the Carrier Plate with the hole in the
Carrier Plate Cover and insert the 4mm hex
key. While holding the hex key in place,
Tighten the nut, turning

counter-clockwise

.

Remove the hex key.

THE BRUSH CUTTER BLADE HAS SHARP EDGES. FOR YOUR

SAFETY, PLEASE USE GLOVES.

WARNING!

DO NOT OPERATE THE BRUSH CUTTER ATTACHMENT

WITHOUT THE SAFETY GUARD FITTED.

WARNING!

THE BLADE NUT MUST NOT BE RE-USED. WHEN

RE-INSTALLING THE BLADE, USE A NEW BLADE NUT. FAILURE TO

FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
