2. LINE SPOOL

Fitting the Line Spool

1. Fit the Carrier Plate over the spindle as this

provides the ability to lock the spindle from
turning when fitting or removing the line
spool.

2. Align the hole in Carrier Plate with the

hole in the Carrier Plate Cover and insert
the 4mm hex key. While holding the hex
key, screw the Line Spool onto the spindle
thread, turning

counter-clockwise

(left-hand

thread) until tight. Remove the hex key.

3. To remove the Line Spool, follow step 2

instructions above, however turn the Line
Spool

clockwise

to remove.

WARNING!

DO NOT OPERATE THE LINE TRIMMER ATTACHMENT

WITHOUT THE SAFETY GUARD FITTED.
