WORKING WITH SOR FILES
OWLView software can export native .OTD files into an industry-standard file format called SOR version 2. Non-OWL trace viewing
software may be able to open these SOR files for trace comparison.
EXPORT SOR FILES
To export the currently viewed trace into SOR format:
1)
Click
File, Export SOR file...
2a)
If the trace contains one wavelength, browse to the folder where the SOR file should be stored, rename the file if necessary,
then click
Save
2b)
If the trace contains two wavelengths, a separate
SOR file will be created for each wavelength.
A dialog box will appear allowing the user to choose a
directory, as well as a different filename for the two
different SOR files to be created.
Click
Export
to save the files.
