Introduction 

Thank  you  for  choosing  this  advanced  Pan,  Tilt  and  Zoom  (PTZ)  camera  system.  The  system 
comprises an integrated IP camera, optical zoom lens and high-precision, 360° pan and tilt system.  
 
This PTZ camera system is a rugged design for use in exposed outdoor locations around the world. 
This manual provides information for the installer and user of the PTZ units.

Product Features 

This product  is a highly  flexible precision PTZ camera system  fitted with a high resolution, high 
sensitivity day/night zoom camera module.  

 

The PTZ unit includes an advanced pan and tilt mechanism with brushless DC (BLDC) motors for 
rapid  and  precise  movement  control  with  enhanced  accuracy  and  reliability.  The  aluminium 
pressure die cast housings, are highly durable and resistant to vandalism. A three-stage coating 
system provides the housings with outstanding resistance to corrosion and degradation by UV.

 

 

The PTZ unit is available with an optional LED illuminator having high intensity white light and 
infra-red  lighting. 

The  LEDs  are  controlled  in  banks  to  provide  the  best  lighting  for  the  ambient 

conditions and the camera zoom position.  
 
The product  is  supplied,  as  standard,  with  Ethernet  IP  control.  The  complete  camera  system  is 
compatible with industry standard control equipment making it ideal for system upgrades as well 
as new installations.  
 
The power and I/O umbilical cable provides connection to the installer provided power and a wide 
range of alarm functions.  Control and imagery are routed via an installer provided Cat5E ethernet 
cable.
